WHO WE ARE

ABE Clinics' team of sincere and dedicated professionals are at the top of their fields and lend their skills and expertise to each individual case and situation.  Many years of training, study, and clinical hands-on experience stand behind all members of our committed team.   We work closely with you in providing researched-based interventions and services, while also directly implementing and/or delivering other services for consistent social and behavioral growth within an Individualized Program Plan (IPP).  We are led by our Executive Clinical Director and Clinical Coordinator.  Our team includes members with skills and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:  




Educational Specialists/Therapists
Conduct Educational Assessments related to students' access to the general education core curriculum and progress towards meeting instructional academic goals, while providing support and guidance in "how to learn" as opposed to what to learn.  Additionally, provide instruction and Special Education Support to individuals with a variety of individualized special needs.  Educational assessments are conducted to also meet individualized academic and functional goals.  This includes individuals with specific learning disabilities, mild/moderate Intellectual Disabilities (ID), other health impairment (OHI), emotional disturbance (ED), autism, moderate/severe ID, deaf-blind, and multiple disabilities to students K-12 through age 22, and classes organized for adults in services across the continuum of program options.   Specialists are also certified to provide instruction for English Language Development (ELD) in grades twelve and below, including preschool, and in classes organized for adults; and specially designed academic instruction in English within designated subject areas and grade levels.

Autism Specialists
Our ASD specialists provide educational, therapeutic and medical services to children and adults with neurobehavioral challenges.

Physician
Our MD is a practicing Pediatrician, Psychotherapist, Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, medical and educational consultant, Forensic Child Abuse an Child Custody Examiner and expert in multiple fields. 

Psychologists/Marriage & Family Therapists
Our Psychologists and MFT's are team members and Board Certified Behavior Analysts that are available for assessments, direct services, planning, consultation and more.

Speech/Language Pathologists
Our SLP's are team members with behavioral experience that are available for assessments, direct services, planning and consultation.

Occupational Therapists
 Our OT's are team members with behavioral experience that are available for assessments, direct services, planning and consultation.
 
Nurse Practitioners
Our Nurse Practitioners are team members available for consultation, planning, assessments and more.

Behavior Analysts
Our board certified behavior analysts are independent practitioners providing behavior analytic services such as behavior program development plans, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and providing supervising placements over individual cases.  

Behavior Therapists
Our Behavior Therapists are team members working in the field or on-site that provide 1:1 treatment and services.  Therapists work under the supervision of our BCBA practitioners.
